About
Sandro Ronca
I graduated in physics, with a specialization in nuclear physics, from the University of Padua in 1978, and a year later I started teaching. For many years I taught at a technical high school, where many of the lessons on this site were born.
Alongside physics, computing has always been with me: from the Commodore 64 to Pascal, from the early Internet to networking, up to courses for system and network administrators. I told the story of those years in a long autobiographical page.
The site started in 2008 with a clear plan: give students and curious readers lessons that are as self-contained as possible and that show phenomena as well as describe them. The books grew out of those lessons.
